Join us for a unique journey into the life of one of the world’s greatest filmmakers, Ingmar Bergman. Together with expert guide Jan Holmberg, you’ll explore the places in Stockholm where Bergman’s art and life came together. We’ll visit everything from famous cultural landmarks to hidden gems, each with its own story to tell about his incredible legacy.
During the weekend, we’ll visit the Royal Dramatic Theatre, where Bergman worked as a director, and Filmstaden Råsunda, the legendary studio where many of his most famous films were made. You will also get a behind-the-scenes look at the Ingmar Bergman Foundation and visit the charming neighborhoods of Södermalm, Old Town, and Östermalm, places that all played a part in his daily life.
A real highlight is the personal storytelling. You’ll hear anecdotes and ”secret” details about the films and the man himself, making the masterpieces feel more personal and alive.
What makes this weekend truly special is the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We travel in a small group, making it easy to chat, share thoughts, and meet new friends who share your interest in film and culture.

Under ledning av Bergmankännaren Jan Holmberg får du uppleva platserna i Stockholm där hans liv och konst tog form. Vi rör oss mellan ikoniska kulturinstitutioner till mer dolda adresser där varje stopp bär på sin egen Bergman-historia och ger en ny dimension till förståelsen av hans arbete och arv.
Under helgen besöker du bland annat Kungliga Dramatiska Teatern, där Bergman verkade som regissör och konstnärlig ledare, och Filmstaden Råsunda, platsen där flera av hans mest kända filmer spelades in. Du får också besöka Filmhuset med Stiftelsen Ingmar Bergman, där hans konstnärliga arv bevaras, samt besöker centrala platser på Södermalm, Gamla Stan och Östermalm som alla spelade en roll i hans liv. En särskild höjdpunkt är de personliga guidningarna där berättelserna bakom filmerna, repetitionerna och livet utanför scenen väcks till liv. Du får höra anekdoter, upptäcka mindre kända detaljer och komma närmare människan bakom mästerverken.

Yes, we mainly travel by tourist buses between locations, but there will be some boarding and alighting, as well as short walks around the sites. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance.
